Making Room For Change - Pastor David - March 30 2025
Have you ever felt like change is knocking at your door, but you’re not quite ready to answer? It’s natural to hold onto what feels safe and familiar, but sometimes, the very thing we’re clinging to can keep us from stepping into something better. There’s a deep truth in how transformation works—it doesn’t always fit neatly into our old ways of thinking or living.
Real change often requires us to let go of what no longer serves us, to make space for something new. And while that can feel uncomfortable or even scary, it’s also where growth happens. This isn’t about dramatic overhauls or big, showy gestures. It’s about the quiet, steady work of renewal in our hearts and lives. It’s about letting grace reshape us, one small step at a time. And as that change takes root in us, it can inspire and encourage others to seek renewal in their own lives, too.
With one week left in Lent, let’s pause and reflect on areas of our lives where we’re resisting change, even when we know it’s for the best? Let’s lean into the beauty of transformation, one step at a time.
