Faith is Not the Absence of Doubt - Pastor David - May 11 2025

Doubt often creeps in during moments of struggle—when life feels uncertain, and we’re searching for answers that seem just out of reach. It’s easy to feel isolated in these times, wondering if our questions and fears make us less faithful. But doubt isn’t the opposite of faith—it’s often the doorway to a deeper trust.

It’s important to remember that doubt doesn’t mean we’ve failed—it means we’re human. Some of the most transformative moments in life begin with questions, not certainty. God often uses our struggles to shape us, to deepen our understanding, and to remind us of His constant presence.

In our moments of uncertainty, Jesus meets us right where we are. He doesn’t dismiss our questions or push us away. Instead, He invites us to draw closer, to show up with our doubts, and to trust that He will reveal Himself in His timing. Faith isn’t about having every answer—it’s about the courage to keep seeking, even when the path feels unclear.
