July 14 2024 - A Pilgrim’s Vision

Jesus teaches in Matthew 6:33, "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." This verse invites us to maintain a dual focus. As pilgrims in this world, we need to learn how to cultivate this perspective in our daily lives. We must develop practical ways to address immediate concerns while staying true to our ultimate goal—our relationship with God.

We are called to live in this world with our hearts and minds focused on God's Kingdom of Heaven and remember that our journey here is temporary. This means prioritizing our spiritual health, nurturing our relationship with God through prayer, studying Scripture, and engaging in acts of love and service.
